Camping Tents. Published at Wednesday, August 02nd 2017, 04:42:36 AM by RickGrimes.
The bottom front part of the tent has hooks that connect to the bottom of the canopy poles. Once the front of the tent is connected, you stretch out the tent and one pole is placed into the slots located in the back part of the tent. Stake the back corners, and bam you have a 4 person tent that is attached to your canopy.
You will have plenty of room to sleep eight people, and this tent comes with all the standard features like storage pockets. There are also numerous doors and windows for ventilation that help with keeping the tent cool. If you love the look of these tents, but need something bigger, or want to stick with something a little more traditional, I encourage you to click on our article about the best family tents!
Qube offers a quick pitching time of less than 2 minutes ,out of the bag to fully pitched and ready to go meaning youll have that drink in your hand quicker than ever before. Unlike other quick pitching tents in fact like many other tents in the camping world you can stand up in all our variations from the 2 person right through to the 4 person so no more stooping over or doing the dying fish while you try and get your jeans on !
While the tall, straight sides of the Qube look anything but ideal for a windstorm, they do offer one very clear advantage, rising between around 7 to over 8 feet (2.1 to over 2.4 m) to offer standing levels of headroom in every size of Qube tent, from two- to four-person. In many compact dome tents, you will not be able to stand at all, and if you can, it may only be toward the very center at the highest point. Standing up is nice, but we are not sure it is not so nice that we want to give up the advantages of a dome tent for a broadsided cube. Perhaps we are just not that modest if we want to stand up while throwing pants on, we can always do so outside the tent.
The social campers over at M2C Innovation are back doing what they do: building modular tents that link up into full-blown campsite communities. The last time we checked in, they were focused on domes, but now they have moved on to Qubes. The new Qube tents are quick-setup blocks that offer enough height to stand up inside.Like Pods, these modular tents connect together with tunnels and create larger tent communities. They are also more affordable than M2Cs original tents and are proving quite popular on crowdfunding.
The center tent pole is strong steel and provides a handy grab point when standing and changing clothes. The tent is also sufficiently high that you can have a chair within the tent convenient for reading, putting on shoes, and so forth. The four plastic windows allow for a ready look at the outside world. Beneath them are airflow vents on the exterior of the tent, which can be slightly enhanced to scoop breezes by leaving one side of the flap zipped to the tent and unzipping the other side of the flap that faces a prevailing wind and tying off its line to one of the existing tent stakes. Though this description is somewhat wordy, creating four such wind scoops becomes intuitively obvious when setting up the tent, provided that the front of the tent faces into the prevailing wind. The proposed rigging requires no added effort since all of the lines are staked out anyway.
