We have been developing the Qubes for the last 6 months and have finally signed off a sample that we are happy meets all of our strict quality controls and so we now need your help to meet the materials and production costs to bring this product to market. We have learnt a lot about manufacturing and quality control while manufacturing the Pods and so are confident we have all the processes and relationships in place to deliver great quality on this project and with our existing distribution network that already covers then UK , Europe and the USA we know we will get this product to you on time.
Qubes can connect via tunnel attachments zipped to one or more of four triangular doors, allowing each tent to connect at all four corners. This opens up all kinds of different configurations. Each two-, three- and four-person Qubes can connect both with like- and with unlike-sized Qubes, adding more flexibility. Each Qube tent is made from PU-coated waterproof 300D cotton oxford fabric that does not require a separate rainfly. M2C says it keeps things breezy inside with a full ventilation system.
The social campers over at M2C Innovation are back doing what they do: building modular tents that link up into full-blown campsite communities. The last time we checked in, they were focused on domes, but now they have moved on to Qubes. The new Qube tents are quick-setup blocks that offer enough height to stand up inside.Like Pods, these modular tents connect together with tunnels and create larger tent communities. They are also more affordable than M2Cs original tents and are proving quite popular on crowdfunding.
Hopefully this connect tent review helped introduce you to a different type of tent that many people arent even aware exists. These are really the best connect tents available right now on the market and provide a great alternative to some of the more standard dome and cabin style tents. We would love to hear any feedback from people that are having great or not so great experiences with these tents, so please feel free to leave a comment.
But if you can think back on days spent camping and realize that all or most of them were in clear, still weather, perhaps storm-ready performance does not have to be your first worry. M2C appears to be aiming the Qubes at recreational car campers and festival campers, so we do imagine it will have an audience of folks who are not worried about having an expedition-level tent built up to survive high-alpine colds and winds. For that type of customer, the Qube has a primary selling point that the average dome in your local camping store does not: its modular, interconnectable design.
Each tent is 10 feet by 10 feet so it is rated to sleep four people, but that would be a little tight if it was four adults. Each tent has two windows and a mesh ceiling that can be covered with the pre-attached rainfly. For the family that doesnt need three separate tents connected together, Ozark Trail also has an option to connect 2 tents. It is really similar in concept to ConnecTent previously listed, except you are only connecting one side tent to the main center tent.
