Camping Tents. Published at Wednesday, August 09th 2017, 08:37:44 AM by RickGrimes.
For warm weather camping, the screened doors at opposite ends provide decent air flow. Notwithstanding the many vents, on warm, bright, sunny days, with little wind the tent can be hot. At night, no problem. The features all combine to produce a very nice camping experience. The tent has 10 pegs that fix the base and attached ground cloth to the ground. To preserve the life of the tents ground cloth and to provide some additional cushioning, I lay down an additional 9x12 tarp and place the tent on top, folding in tarp edges where required. The tarp also provides a valuable assist when taking down the tent, because it provides a clean surface to work on while carefully folding the tent so that it readily fits into the tent bag - also less crud, which might spoil the tent in the bag.
We have been developing the Qubes for the last 6 months and have finally signed off a sample that we are happy meets all of our strict quality controls and so we now need your help to meet the materials and production costs to bring this product to market. We have learnt a lot about manufacturing and quality control while manufacturing the Pods and so are confident we have all the processes and relationships in place to deliver great quality on this project and with our existing distribution network that already covers then UK , Europe and the USA we know we will get this product to you on time.
Highly recomended, we are a family 8 and do nt like to be in tight spaces. Also took my sister and 2 kids. I purchased this tent because it was a really good deal. It took my husband and son about 30 minutes to put it up. It has huge, Beatutiful and very well made.!!! This is our first camping experience and we loved it, inside we put 2 queen air beds, 1 king, and 4 twin. To our surprise we had plenty of space to walk around. Oh not to mention my son and husband are about 6 ft tall and I believe the tent is 7ft or higher. We were very happy with our purchased. In sleeping bags you can surely fit 20 ppt but we love space and air beds.
A removable ground sheet means you can have extra comfort underfoot and makes the tent easier to clean when you pack it away. The key to the Qubes is that they are easy to erect and offer you a great space inside , in addition we have a few extras that will make this tent in a class of its own.Unlike other tents you can connect together any Qube to another Qube in any size so the 4 person will connect to a 2 person or 3 person using the universal tunnel meaning you can build your own bespoke set up of interconnected tents. On every Qube you can connect on every corner meaning the possibilities to join are endless.
Both canvas (cotton) tents and tents made from man-made materials such as Nylon, PVC and others have their pros and cons and you will find as many people choosing one as the other for varying reasons. Canvas tents are made of a more breathable material and have god insulating properties, keeping you cooler in hot weather and warmer in cold times. Man-made materials are lighter and easier to handle, but may be less comfortable in very hot situations. They are also often cheaper than canvas tents and have the benefit of being easier to care for. A canvas tent will not take kindly to being packed away damp, developing mould and mildew much more easily than a polyester tent.
Qubes can connect via tunnel attachments zipped to one or more of four triangular doors, allowing each tent to connect at all four corners. This opens up all kinds of different configurations. Each two-, three- and four-person Qubes can connect both with like- and with unlike-sized Qubes, adding more flexibility. Each Qube tent is made from PU-coated waterproof 300D cotton oxford fabric that does not require a separate rainfly. M2C says it keeps things breezy inside with a full ventilation system.
